Question by talz: Is MDPV illegal in the USA?
Recently my brother-in-law has gone a little crazy because of this drug. He has become delusional and claims peopel are trying to kill and hurt him. We took him to the behavior center but they couldn’t keep him because he wasn’t a threat to himself. But the other day he called the police and poured kerosen all over his house and confessed to use this drug. I found out that this drug is easily obtainable thru the internet and trying to spread awareness. Currently he is in rehab and has lost his share of a bussiness he partly owned until he recovers.

MDPV is not specifically listed as an illegal drug in any country, but its structural similarity to illegal drugs of abuse makes it likely that it would be considered a controlled substance analogue in several countries such as the USA, Australia and New Zealand.
